What Does the Board of Trustees Do, Anyway?

What does the Board of Trustees do? If you can’t answer this question, you’re likely not alone. On this episode of Terras Irradient, Andrew Rosin ’25 is joined by three members of Amherst College’s Board of Trustees to break down their role on campus. From their power over the wages of Valentine Dining Hall Employees, to the political makeup of the board, Rosin attempts to disentangle what exactly the Board does, and how we can create a future where the Board isn’t so mysterious to students.
